The ITAYA MCS-8G is a computer-controlled spring and wire forming machine designed for the production of precision springs and formed wire components. Available industry references classify the MCS-8G as a CNC wire former with a maximum wire capacity of approximately 0.8 mm.

The machine no longer has its original ITAYA electronic control system. It has been modernised with new electronic and control components and is operated through a newly developed, completely independent application.

The new software uses conventional line-by-line programming. Each machine movement and forming operation can be entered as a separate program line, allowing the operator to build and modify the complete production sequence step by step.
