The VMC1690 large vertical machining center is an industrial machine designed specifically for machining very large and heavy components with complex shapes. The integration of efficient CNC control technology, a robust structure, and intelligent systems allows for milling, drilling, boring, and tapping during a single workpiece clamping. This shortens the production cycle and reduces costs and positioning errors. The machine enables the machining of various metal materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steels, copper alloys, mold steel, and aluminum alloys. The machine’s workspace includes a travel range of 1600 mm in the X-axis, 900 mm in the Y-axis, and 700 mm in the Z-axis. The spindle reaches speeds of up to 6000 rpm. Castings made of HT350 cast iron, an integrated, reinforced bed, and a column provide good rigidity, vibration damping, and thermal stability. The device is essential equipment in heavy industry, marine engineering, aerospace, and in the production of large molds.
